“This Is It”

“This Is It” is a filmed event that will go down in history as one of the greatest concerts ever and never even got a chance to happen.

This movie is about 75 percent of Michael Jackson rehearsing his final concert. Just the way he choreographed his movements and dancing was amazing. Everyone knows he was one of the best dancers in the world of all time.  But the way he puts it all together is truly a magnificent spectacle. About 10 percent of the film is the short movies that Michael made to be behind him while he was performing on stage. The remaining percent is the people who were supposed to perform with Michael on stage.

This is a one in a lifetime chance to see the greatest singer of all time go out in a blaze of glory. There were chills going down my spine sitting through this movie. He really was an amazing and humble man.

  1. I have seen the previews on the TvV for some time now and, everytime I see the commercial I get the chills. This is a movie i definitely want to see. I heard that the movie is only in theatres for 2 weeks. Is this true?

  2. Didn’t see it, but the commercials make it look good. Also I’ve seen the dancers on Ellen- they’re amazing! You can see how much MJ influenced them.

  3. I really didn’t know anything about this film until I read your description, having assumed it was [just] a way for the family/record execs/etc a way to capitalize on M.J.’s death. (Dark, I know.) I still don’t know if I’m willing to pay to see it – but I *do* think I’ll see it now. Having grown up in the ’80s, the hey-dey of Michael & the Jackson 5 (in my opinion), I must admit that he’s put out some excellent music, videos, and of course, the dancing. Only slightly marred by the whole touching-little-boys business…

    Thanks for the tip.
